Summary:

The early childhood teacher is responsible for providing a safe, inclusive, and developmentally appropriate school-age program in accordance with all relevant legislation, policies, and procedures.

This is a part time, 15-20 hours per week.  Schedule mirrors the Muskego Norway School District (MNSD) calendar and will begin August 29, 2016.

Duties & Responsibilities:

*Plan and implement activities to meet the physical, emotional, intellectual and social needs of all children based on typical child development and school requirements.

*Collect, record, analyze, and make needed adjustments based on specified student data as directed to identify developmental performance information for each student.

*Care for and/or provide assistance with students’ personal hygiene needs.

*Perform various rotational duties for day to day operations, as assigned.

*Participate in the planning, setup, implementation and clean up of quarterly parent events.

*Build and strengthen relationships with students, families, the community, and staff, while acknowledging and respecting diverse educational, socio-economic, family and cultural backgrounds.

*Participate in on-going professional development activities.

*Practice and promote safety in all aspects of school operations.

*Participate in self, peer, coaching and program evaluations and reviews.

*Stimulates emotional, intellectual, and social growth of students by developing and directing educational programs and activities tailored to assisgned class; supervising classroom.
