The ideal Smithfield's manager believes that a positive outlook is contagious in the workplace and understands how that affects the entire restaurant. The Manager-In-Training reports directly to the Operations Manager and/or Training Manager and has a hand in everything that it takes to operate the restaurant, throughout the entire training process. Mastering our proprietary recipes and culinary techniques, managing food and labor costs, and providing leadership to the Assistant Managers and hourly co-workers are all done in an effort to take the best possible care of the customers. Administrative duties are kept to a minimum so you can focus on daily operations. An able and attentive Manager-In-Training will position themselves to one day become a General Manager and then an Operations Manager.
