Project Engineer

This is an excellent opportunity with one of the largest Professional Construction Services Firms in the country.

The role of the Project Engineer is to assist the Project Manager with submittals and insuring the enclosures are going up right.

• Answering and taking questions from sub contractors and RFIs.
• 1-5 years of construction experience as a project engineer or project manager on large projects.
• Candidates will plan, organize, and staff key field positions through regional department heads or subordinate managers.
• Initiate and maintain liason with prime client, architects, engineers and subcontractors to facilitate construction activities.
• Monitor/control construction through administrative direction of on-site Superintendent and PMs to ensure project is built on schedule and within budget.
• Candidates must have the ability to manage financial aspects of contracts: fee payment, rental equipment, income/expenses) to protect company's interest and simultaneously maintain good relationship with clients.
• Medical construction experience would be a plus.
• No degree required, but preferred (Construction Management, Civil or Structural Engineering)
• Ability to produce regular project status reports.
