Position Summary and Essential Accountabilities:

The Recruiter will report directly to the Talent Acquisition Manager, Americas and is responsible for full life-cycle recruiting; recruit, screen and recommended placement of technical and administrative staff by using creative sourcing methods (internal and external). He/She will partner with hiring managers and members of the HR Team to determine staffing needs. The Recruiter will screen resumes, interview candidates (by phone or in person), administer appropriate assessments, reference/background checking, make recommendations for hire (or not hire) and deliver employment offers for both exempt and non-exempt position vacancies as assigned. He/She will serve as an expert for recruiting candidates within an assigned territory. This individual will use traditional and non-traditional resources to identify and attract quality candidates such as career fairs, on-line job fairs, community network events, etc. He/She will also manage the internal transfer process including screening, coordination of interview with hiring manager, transfer offer letter, etc.

The Recruiter will follows up with candidates and hiring managers to ensure updated information on the interview process status is available. He/She will develop and maintain relationships with internal and external clients to ensure achievement of staffing goals. He/She may communicate important employment information during the delivery of employment offers (i.e. benefits, compensation, non-competition agreements, etc.). He/She will handle domestic and international recruiting projects as assigned by the Talent Acquisition Manager and manages current candidate activity in the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) for assigned vacancies. The Recruiter will manage application/resume file and retention according to company policy.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing or a Human Resources Discipline required.
  • 3-5 Years of hands on recruiting experience for global companies with high volume recruiting strategies required.
  • 3-5 Years of experience with web based tools such as ATS systems (SuccessFactors, etc.), Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, ZipRecruiter, CareerBuilder, etc.
  • Experience recruiting for international locations required preferably, throughout North and South America.
  • Expert level phone, video and in person interviewing skills to assess candidate suitability.
  • Expert level interview coordination skills and managing scheduling with Stakeholders from Line Leadership to C-Level Leaders.
  • Experience attending job fairs, performing university recruiting and talent receptions preferred.
  • Expert level Boolean search string skills.
  • Experience drilling down and data mining via cold calling, networking and proven passive industry recruiting tactics.
  • Driven personality with a passion for the Oerlikon Surface Solutions brand.
  • Blended experience from both agency and corporate environments preferred.
  • Expert verbal and written communication skill in English required.
  • Experience in 3D Printing or Additive Manufacturing industries is preferred.
  • Willingness to travel up to 20% as required.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

This is a Contract position, and hours of work and days are Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. EDT to 5 p.m. EDT
