RF Test Technician - Full-time / Part-time

• Sets-up and maintains equipment for an operational RF and digital test lab
• Utilizes Network Analyzer and other test equipment.
• Soldering under a microscope.
• Disassembles and troubleshoots non-complying products
• Testing during First Article Inspection
• Troubleshoots and repairs electronic board assemblies and product down to the component level
• Instructs assembly personnel
• Utilizing PC to document data

Qualifications

• Two year degree in electronics or relevant experience above the minimum required

• At least two years experience in electronics testing and test lab set up and maintenance

• Knowledge of proper testing and test documentation procedures

• Is a highly motivated self-starter capable of working independently as well as in group settings

• Is well organized and able to multi-task Knows the basics of electrical engineering and the working theory and physics of components like resistors, capacitors, inductors, transistors, mosfets, amplifiers

• Knows the basic concepts and theory of RF and RF components like switches, amplifiers, power dividers/combiners, couplers, attenuators, amplifiers, Insertion loss, return loss, VSWR, inter modulation, compression

• Knows how to use test equipment like Vector Network analyzers, Spectrum analyzers, Signal Generators, Oscilloscopes, DMM

• Must have proficient PC skills relevant to the position (Excel, Word, Power Point, and Microsoft Project).

• Possess excellent communications skills, both verbal and written, to communicate effectively with manufacturing team

• Labview experience is a huge plus.

Compensation

$16-$20/hr

6 month contract-to-hire
