Description
A successful Maintenance mechanic will be able to:
• Work under general supervision
• Set up, adjust, perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain assigned equipment with responsibility for production and quality
• Perform scheduled maintenance
• Make preventive maintenance check and inspection of assigned equipment, report to Shift Supervisor, and take appropriate action
• Oil and grease equipment and make repairs as needed
• Analyze mechanical and operational problems, makes necessary corrections and runs adjustments to maintain maximum production and quality
• Change equipment to new sizes, verifies after change over
• Test equipment to verify correct operation and production of quality products
• Examine defects and analyzes spoilage causes.
Qualification
• High school diploma or equivalent
• At least 1 year of experience with forklift, conveyor and general equipment repair and maintenance.
• Working electrical knowledge
• Fundamental understanding of machinery/equipment
• Basic level skill in Microsoft Excel
• Ability to pass Mechanical aptitude test
• Available to work overtime and weekends as needed
• Demonstrated ability to handle tools properly and safely
• Able to speak /understand and read / write in English
• Quick learner/study
• Exhibits strong sense of urgency
