Job Description
JOB SUMMARY: Responsible for ensuring that all tooling, raw materials, and supplies are prepared and ready for press runs.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
The following description of work to be performed by this individual is not intended to be all-inclusive. Rather, it focuses on the major tasks that must be accomplished. There are many necessary activities to satisfy any of the following performance guidelines.
 Stage tooling, raw materials, and supplies for production orders
 Support operator with set-up and tear-down
 Operate load turner
 Work with operator to achieve productivity and quality goals
 Assist in maintaining equipment performance by performing regular preventative maintenance on equipment as required by maintenance programs
 Maintain a clean, organized work area
 Comply with all safety, DOT, HAZMAT and environmental policies and procedures
 Use all designated Personal Protective Equipment as required


Work Environment
The average shift length for an Machine Assistant is 12 hours. Assistants can be on their feet or sitting for the entire length of their shift. Their job involves continuous collection, stacking and arrangement of card stock into holding bins. It requires continuous reaching at, above and below shoulders. Frequently they must crouch, twist or turn. This job requires continuous repetitive motion. Equipment Assistants are required to operate includes pallet jacks, conveyor systems, and tape dispensers. This position requires the assistant to focus on the running pace of the machine as well as the workflow of their operator. The job sometimes requires the lifting of card containers weighing 30 lbs max. When card containers are loaded into boxes, a full box may weigh up to 60 lbs depending on the card stock. The normal temperature of the work area is 70 degrees F, with 45% humidity. It is essential that Imaging Assistants have good vision, including the ability to properly distinguish color and are attentive to detail.

Qualifications
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
-Entry Level position, no experience required
- 0-3 month manufacturing experience would be great
- Positive attitude and want to work the position til the end of the season ramp of Sept.4th
- great attendance
- Attention to detail

Must Haves:
-Good hand eye coordination
-Stand or sit for long periods of time
-Can not be color blind
Additional Compensation
Candidates must be comfortable working 60hr/ week on a consistent basis when in peaking season.

***Employees can earn a incentive bonus for working the full contract-$1 for every reg hour worked & $1.50 for every OT hour worked***

***Example- if an employee works 350 reg hours & 25 OT hrs between when they start and September 4th they would receive a check after September 4th for $381.25 for completing the assignment.***
Additional Information
50 Openings:
- $1/hr PM Shift Differential
*Machine Assistant $10.75/hr to 11.75/hr

Shift: Sunday- Saturday (Schedule Provided)
1st Shift : 6 am- 6 pm
2nd Shift : 6 pm-6 am

Week 1: 48/hr
Week 2: 36/hr
OT is available for all employees if desired
