Primary Responsibilities:
Manage 6 MA staff to include time management, work assignments, assessment of training needs, and participation in performance evaluation activities
Create and maintain calendars and Sharepoint site for deployment and coordination of NP Staff and supporting MA staff to network primary clinics and Optum community centers
Prepare, maintain and manage department documentation to include regular reports, internal office communications among network staff and NP staff, external communication to primary care clinics and OptumCare management
Coordinate closely with all stakeholders to include network management, marketing, customer service, and community center staff to ensure highest level of communication and coordination
Act as key liaison between new Community Centers and deployment of NP and MA staff
Participate in workflow process and policy development in conjunction with network and clinical staff
Plan and organize logistics related to meetings, training sessions and events that engage the NP and MA staff to include presentation of education to patients

Required Qualifications:
Medical Assistant Certification with 5+ year direct patient care experience
3+ years experience in managed care operations
Associate Degree
Prior training experience in a healthcare delivery setting
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree
