Leasing Consultant (Richmond, VA)

employment type: full-time

  • Property management company seeking a self-motivated, well organized, experienced, dependable, and hard-working individual to join our management team in the Richmond area.

    Responsibilities include:
    • Greet applicants, show vacant/model apartments
    • Demonstrate community and apartment knowledge and communicate the features and benefits of the community with potential residents.
    • Screen applicants including requesting and reviewing credit reports, employment references and rental references.
    • Lease preparation & move-in orientations.
    • Handle renewals, extensions, and vacating notices
    • Assists the Property Manager with a number of on-going administrative functions of the community including processing rental payments.
    • Provides excellent customer service to current and future residents.
    • Answer telephones
    • Plans and participate in outside marketing activities to attract prospective residents.

    Requirements:
  • Must be well-organized and have a positive attitude and an outgoing personality.
  • Must have the ability to Multi Task and perform in a fast pace setting.
  • Excellent communication skills and strong computer skills.
  • Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation to perform marketing off-site.
