Job Title: Sales Manager                   

Reports to: VP of ACS
 

 

For the past 35 years ACS Security has been the premier residential electronic security company for the entire Westside of Los Angeles (i.e. Bel Air, Beverly Hills, Brentwood, Malibu, etc.). We are expanding and looking to hire a new Sales Manager to join our team.

 

The Sales Manager position will be responsible for training outside field sales representatives for ACS and assisting upper management.  This position will have a variety of responsibilities including, but not limited to: shadowing reps in the field, ensuring reps are adhering to in home/business presentation scripts, manage and track sales territory, helping new hires to stay motivated and reach quota, and training reps in alarm equipment and company services.  This position will also be responsible for up to date activity as well as communicating all progress to upper management on a consistent basis.

 

Job Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Managing and training a large team of door to door sales reps
  • Sales manager must learn several sales scripts and must show ability to close using company provided material and ensure that field reps are adhering to script
  • Required to learn company offerings with alarm equipment and security services
  • Manage and track field rep territory and keep in an organized readily accessible fashion
  • Monitor individual sales reps production to make sure that reps are meeting their individual goals
  • Develop and implement innovative sales strategies and processes that drive market penetration and segment growth
  • Report to upper management with daily and monthly progress reports

 

Skills Required:

  • 3 years’ experience in sales management and training with a large door to door canvassing team
  • Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills
  • Motivated to deliver results
  • Excellent problem solving skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office skills
  • Proactive, organized, friendly and helpful
  • Quick learner, highly adaptable to new processes
