Whelan Security is looking for a talented and driven leader to manage our client service in Delano, CA!

Whelan Security is a performance-based company that cares deeply about maintaining our conservative business culture. The NAM is an operational leader of the company responsible for client relations and personnel support for an exclusive Delano account, typically reporting to our Regional Operations Managers. The NAM role is 10% strategic and 90% tactical. The strategic portion consists of planning, development of performance metrics and leadership of the Delano account. The tactical portion includes operational support of the account to include client relations and visitation, scheduling design, contract compliance, post order development and performance metrics tracking while also supporting the local branches in employee recruiting, discipline, recognition, training and inspections. The Delano NAM is expected to build upon a culture of employee engagement and set the example for all employees of the account site regarding servant leadership and personal commitment to the Whelan Values.

Qualifications

Performance Metrics: The Delano NAM is expected to achieve the following metrics within Whelan’s performance-based business environment:
  • Year over year improvement in Employee Engagement Scores in the national account
  • Retention of the national account
  • Period over period improvement (usually quarterly) of performance metrics specific to the national account
  • Personnel recruiting to ensure full staffing levels on the national account
  • Personally recruit a minimum of one new manager/supervisor for your account annually
  • Develop a minimum of one new manager/supervisor for promotion annually
  • Become proficient in all company software systems (on-boarding, scheduling, financial, CRM)
  • 100% compliance to the Whelan Mandatory Requirements
  • Lead by example of living up to the Whelan Values

Education

Candidates must meet the following educational requirements:
  • Possess at least a high school education or equivalent (GED) – college degree preferred
  • Possess a valid CA guard card
  • Possess a valid CA driver's license
  • Possess a valid CPR 1st aid certification
Previous contract services, hospitality, military, law enforcement or supervisory experience is desirable.
