Service/Diesel Technician - Full-time / Part-time

JOB SUMMARY

Provide a broad range of repair to used customer refuse trucks and concrete mixer trucks. Service work will be conducted at designated service facility.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Perform a wide variety of maintenance and repair work to all makes of concrete mixers and refuse hauling trucks.
2. Maintain necessary maintenance records.
3. All other duties and responsibilities that are reasonably assigned by the employer or its designee.
4. Interact with customers and promote service work.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

High School Diploma, GED or equivalent

1-plus years experience in maintenance, preferably in vehicle and truck body repair

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Associates degree or 2 year technical degree

CDL License

Ability to perform basic and occasionally complex maintenance and repair

Ability to troubleshoot and repair hydraulic/electrical systems

Ability to read schematics

Skill and experience in stick and wire feed welding

Must maintain acceptable level of punctuality and attendance for work

Hours- 7am-5pm M-F & 7am-12pm on Saturday
