Join us and start doing your life's best work.SM The Senior Recovery/Resolution Representative handles information about patient services and how those services are paid by investigating and pursuing recoveries through contact with various parties. The representative manages subrogation files, negotiates settlements, and ensures adherence to compliance policies.  They are responsible for overseeing overpayments made by UHG and then they ensure that the funds get back to the proper group by working in several databases and having a high integrity for details. Primary Responsibilities:Provide claims expertise support by reviewing, researching, investigating, negotiating, and resolving all types of claims as well as recovery and resolution for health plans, commercial customers, and government entitiesAnalyze, identify trends, and provide reports as necessaryEnsure adherence to state and federal compliance policies, reimbursement policies, and contract complianceManage subrogation filesPerform other duties as assigned

Requirements

Qualifications:High school diploma or GED1+ years of claims or collections experience within the healthcare industry1+ year of customer service experience analyzing and solving customer problems1+ years of experience working with computers and Windows PC applicationsAssets:1+ years working experience with processing C&S, M&R or E&I refundsExperience working with LBWS and ODARExperience with UHG platforms and computer systems.Experience working with MS Word (document creation), MS Excel (data entry), and MS Outlook (sending emails)1+ years experience using claims platforms such as UNET, COSMOS, NICE, Facets, Diamond, etc.Physical Requirements and Work Environment:Frequent speaking, listening using a headset, sitting, use of hands/fingers across keyboard or mouse, handling other objects, long periods working at a computerService center environment with moderate noise level due to Representatives talking, computers, printers, and floor activityUnitedHealth Group is a drug-free workplace.
