Title: City Ambassador
Hours: Daily schedule will change or be adjusted according to client needs. Candidate must be flexible to cover1st or 2nd shift and respond to changes and emergency needs. Must be willing to work weekends as deemed necessary by the site calendar/events.

Physical Demands: The physical demands described here represent those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle or feel, and reach with arms and hands. The employee is required to stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee is required to talk or hear. The employee must lift/move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required include close vision, and ability to adjust focus.
Work Environment: The work environment characteristics described here represent those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. The employee may be exposed to infectious waste, diseases, conditions, etc. including AIDS and Hepatitis B viruses. The noise level is usually moderate. The employee is required to work in an outdoor environment and withstand outside elements including extreme heat, rain, wind etc.

  • Maintains park and facilities cleanliness by performing trash/litter removal, graffiti removal from walls, light landscaping, and other general cleaning duties.
  • Actively acknowledge pedestrians with friendliness and provide visitors with directions, city information, and escort services.
  • Enforces all city and safety rules and regulations.
  • Reports any malfunctions / maintenance problems to Supervisor. Discusses work problems and/or schedule problems with Supervisor and/or management.
  • Perform additional responsibilities and tasks as deemed necessary to ensure excellent customer service for our client.

Requirements: Must pass criminal background check and drug screening. Must have a minimum of 3 years experience in hospitality. Must have superior customer service and interpersonal skills and be a self-motivated team player with a strong commitment to the job. Must be able to convey information frequently and listen to concerns.
