IMMEDIATE OPENING
STRAP-TIE OPERATOR
Automation Personnel Services has an immediate opening for a 1st shift strap-tie operator for a local steel manufacturing company in Jasper, TN. The schedule is 6: 00am-2: 30pm Monday - Friday, with occasional mandatory overtime to meet production demands.
Pay rate is $10 per hour.
This position requires knowledge of press brake machine operation, ability to read measuring tools such as: calipers and micrometers. The strip-tie operator will strip-tie the required quantity of steel together for warehousing or operate a stamping press. Must be able to lift 1-75 pounds for loading and unloading onto the press. Also, will have to perform quality checks on first articles. Personal protective equipment is required for this position. The ideal candidate must be able to work independently with minimal supervisor in a fast paced production environment. Good attendance is a must as this position is essential in the production process.
