Job Description

We're currently seeking a Logistics Admin Support for a temp to hire opportunity in Garner, NC with our partner, one of the leading providers of farm equipment supply.

As a Logistics Admin Support, you will...

  • Support the Purchasing Department by analyzing, resolving, and reconciling Purchase Orders received, and offers problem solving and delivery date resolution on Past Due Purchase Orders.
  • Works as part of the Purchasing Database Team to assist with the daily tasks related to data entry of inventory and purchasing information.
  • Analyze Problem Reports to reconcile overages, shortages, incorrect item receipts, or other applicable issues that assist in the closure of open Purchase Order receipt and invoice variances.
  • Perform data entry of Problem Report details into the Receiving Performance work file.
  • Support Logistics Team members in contacting suppliers in efforts to expedite deliveries.
  • Execute all applicable and necessary actions to ensure the Logistics Team meets or exceeds its internal performance measurement goals, as set forth by the Purchasing Team.
  • Assist the Purchasing Database Team with daily procedures related to Item Maintenance, Vendor Maintenance, and Purchase Order Maintenance.
  • Effectively communicate with other internal departments and outside vendors.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Personal computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Intermediate or higher level understanding of Microsoft Excel and Google Drive features
  • Experience in Supply Chain, Purchasing and/or Accounting Knowledge is desired
  • Decisive and logical, independent thinker and work ethic, analytical research, team player and great communication skills

  • Monday - Friday: 8am - 5 pm
