We are currently looking for FULL TIME (40hrs+/week) and PART TIME (30hrs/week) Youth Care Workers for our Emergency Shelter. The right person will identify with our core values of Advocacy, Family, Spiritual Development, Education, Mutual Respect, Dignity, Compassion, and Responsibility. With our mission and these values in mind, the role will primarily provide:

  • A Positive Role Model for all our children
  • Care and Supervision for residents in the Emergency Shelter ranging from birth to 17
  • Provision of Material, Physical, Spiritual, Emotional, and Disciplinary Needs
  • Meal Preparation, Menu Documentation, and Grocery Pick Up
  • Transportation for Shelter residents to all appropriate facilities, to include medical/health & welfare appointments
  • Administration & Documentation of Medications

Minimum Qualifications Include:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 1-2 years of experience/education in a similar position
  • Valid Driver's License w/excellent driving record
  • Ability to care for up to 24 children
  • Some college preferred

Candidates must be available for flexible scheduling.

Our typical FULL TIME SHIFT shift for this position will be 8 hours per day/40 hours per week.

Our typical PART TIME SHIFT shift for this position will be 6 hours per day/30 hours per week.

Shifts may run mornings, afternoon, evenings, and/or overnights. This is subject to change as needs/ratios change.
