RESPONSIBILITIES & QUALIFICATIONS

The Senior Process Improvement Analyst will be accountable for supporting and analyzing strategies for driving continuous improvement across all Sunrise communities to enable the highest level of care delivery, a superior resident experience and operational excellence world-wide. Provides support to Vice President of Operational Excellence in the execution of key projects aligned to organization priorities. The key areas of responsibility include:

  • Develop metrics and analytics to support resident care, measure performance, generate actionable insights, and drive targeted improvement strategies.
    • Analyze large amounts of resident care data using advanced statistical methods.
    • Independently execute analysis including information gathering, methodological design, and final representation / visualization of data. Ability to think through connections between operating model and care outcomes and what might be found in population databases.
    • Must be able to translate data and complicated, technical analytics into concise and easily understood graphs and reports demonstrating patterns, trends, and opportunities.
  • Evaluate the impact of various operational strategies and draw conclusions, make recommendations and communicate data into meaningful information.
    • Serve as an analytics subject matter expert to assess business questions and problems, design analyses to meet business needs, and provide recommendations
    • Analyze data for patterns or opportunities to investigate and create reports to present findings
    • Validate and document productivity gains from work streams
  • Manage cross functional improvement projects and lead teams in the identification, research and implementation of process improvements. Increase standardization of work processes and accomplish measureable business process improvements, utilizing fact-based management practices and the use of Six Sigma and other problem solving methodologies.
    • Document business processes, analyze financial and operational data, develop recommendations based on data analysis, lead work streams / own key deliverables, understand and report on key metrics, identify areas of opportunities for business improvement and identify root causes were appropriate.
    • Support project teams in process quality activities by educating, coaching and mentoring others on process improvement philosophy, tools and application, sharing best practices.
Education and Experience
  • 4-year bachelor's degree from an accredited university, post graduate degree is preferred.
  • 5+ years of relevant experience
  • Certification and/or training in quality management, process improvement, Lean Six Sigma, etc, required.
Qualifications and Skills
  • Advanced Excel, Minitab or other statistical analysis software required. SQL and Oracle experience strongly preferred.
  • Highly analytical with an aptitude for translating complex information into presentation-friendly formats.
  • Exceptional interpersonal, facilitation and oral and written communications skills
  • Must be self-directed, flexible, motivated and work well independently as well as with a team; consistently take a hands-on, proactive approach
  • Proven track record of success working in or with fast-paced, consumer focused organizations
