Material Handler

Valvoline is seeking a Material Handler to join our team.

As a material handler you are required to perform movements of bulk and packaged petroleum, antifreeze, and car care products throughout the facility, mainly associated with the warehouse shipping and receiving department. Duties also include large package production at the Drum and Pail lines.

Responsibilities:

• Drum and Pail production which will include the operation of packaging equipment related to drums, kegs, pails, gallon jugs, and totes.
• Bulk product transfers involving hose and tank connections for production.
• Shipping activity including picking and loading of customer orders both domestic and export, and any associated paperwork.
• Operating a Forklift as required for work.
• Navigate and use Microsoft and SAP as needed.
• General housekeeping and working in a safe manner a must.
• Safety Training and general safety awareness.

*This position is located in Santa Fe Springs, CA.

Qualifications: 

Required:

• Valid Forklift Certification required.
• Computer, organizational, and communcation skills required. 
• Must be authorized to work in the United States

Physical Requirements:  

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs required.
• Ability to stand and walk for entire shift, including repeated sitting and climbing as needed.
