Aerotek is looking for Airframe & Powerplant Mechanics to support the largest, family-owned maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) facility in the world providing premier aircraft services. The Airframe Technician, with limited supervision, assists with testing, adjusting and repairing, and other general tasks related to the maintenance and repair of airframe systems and components on a variety of airframes in a safe and clean work environment according to manufacturer's specifications, approved procedures and customer specifications. In addition, this position prepares and completes appropriate documentation in a timely manner. Qualifications:
  • Airframe or Repairman's Certificate required; Powerplant Certificate preferred
  • 1-5 years Airframe experience preferred
  • Military and entry level candidates with an Airframe Certificate can apply, but prefer some experience
  • Someone that has worked on King Air, Falcons, Gulfstream, Lear's, or other similar planes is preferred but not required
  • Provide your own tools per department tool list requirements
  • 6 month contract and then offered to go direct with company with the opportunity to earn bonuses, raises and
  • receive a great benefits package and relocation assistance upon going permanent

Duties:

  • Perform minor troubleshooting, function testing, and repair of aircraft systems and components
  • Prepare various documents for record keeping purposes, as required by Company policy and FAA regulations
  • Accurately order general and aircraft parts, as needed

Shift/Work Environment:

  • All candidates will start on the day shift for the first few months (7am-3:30pm) should stay on days
  • Possible other shifts: Weekend: Fri-Sun (6am-6:30pm) or Nights: Mon-Thurs (2-10pm or 3-11pm)
