About this job
Automation Personnel Services is seeking 3rd Shift Machine Operators for a food manufacturing company in Marietta, GA. The schedule for this position is Monday through Sunday, with rotating off days. The shift time for this position is 10: 30pm - 6: 50am. Overtime is required when necessary. The rate for this position is $11.45 an hour. The duties of the assignment include and are not limited to the following:
Ensure that all equipment is in operational condition and maintained properly.
Monitor the overall operation of equipment to ensure safe and efficient production.
Ensure that a quality product is being produced.
Quality is checked in production lines for correct print, resin mix, all specification.
Make minor adjustments/repairs to equipment as needed.
Be knowledgeable in Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Good Sanitation Practices (GSP) necessary in food operations.
Assist in the daily production of spices to include setup, picking and handling of ingredients and supplies; and the cleaning and sanitation of the work area for next day production.
Engage in the process of manufacturing, the standards to be followed and the safety of product from mix through packaged state.
Candidate must have a minimum of 2 years recent food manufacturing experience, in addition to passing all client required screenings, including background and required math assessment.
You must pay attention to detail, be able to work in a team oriented environment, work fast paced and flexibility with scheduling.
Must be able to lift 50lbs, bend, stoop and stand for extended periods of time.
