Aerotek is currently hiring for an Electrical Estimator to work for a well known, very established electrical contractor in the Omaha area.
Duties and Responsibilities
As an electrical estimator the selected candidate will be working with current estimating staff, putting bid packages together for both commercial electrical jobs. The following are additional job duties:
- Perform Takeoffs
- Prepare electrical estimates by calculating complete takeoff of scope of work
- Develop Proposal Timelines
- Reviewing Bid Specifications, Drawings, and other Bid Documents
- Maintain files of working documents to serve as back-up for estimate figures
- Professionally interact with Clients, Subcontractors, Project Managers, Sales Reps, and Engineers
Education and/or Experience Requirements
- A minimum of 3- 5 years of experience in Commercial Electrical Estimating
- Strong working knowledge of the NEC
- Proficient with MS Excel
- Working knowledge of Computerized Estimating Systems
