Primary responsibility will be for the effective design, development, and delivery of training programs and materials.  Responsibilities include conducting needs analysis, as well as designing, developing, and delivering, learning activities and communications that promote overall performance. This individual will also be responsible for evaluating learning outcomes to ensure effectiveness of programs and recommending/ implementing modifications as necessary.
 
The individual should be highly proficient in designing and delivering instructor-led, virtual and self-paced solutions.  The individual will work with SMEs to obtain training content and work across business segments to partner on portfolio and integrated training programs.  
 
As a Senior Instructional Designer, you will be responsible to keep abreast of various design strategies.  You will create original synchronous and asynchronous learning solutions in addition to converting existing instructor-led training programs.  The Instructional Designer will apply innovative and creative strategies including but not limited to web-based tutorials, documented procedures, audio and video vignettes, and simulations using various technology tools. In this role, you may act as a project manager over smaller efforts or be part of a design team with focus on larger efforts that may include a dedicated project manager.

Primary Responsibilities:


Applies a systems approach to curriculum design, re-design and development

Participates in the planning, development, and evaluation of learning programs from new hire training materials supporting ongoing learning and professional development of our operations learner audiences

Define learning objectives

Creates or converts existing instructor-led curriculum into an online learning format

Requirements

Required Qualifications:


BA/BS degree (training or related field a plus); high school diploma with applicable experience will be considered

5+ years' experience working in an instructional design role, developing instructor-led and web-based training in a corporate environment

Experience with WebEx or similar online meeting tools 

5+ years' experience conducting in-person training and/or seminar/workshop topics and Web-based training in a corporate environment is a plus

Intermediate or better experience using Microsoft Office Suite programs to include Word, Excel, PowerPoint

Experience with Storyline, Articulate or Captivate, or comparable learning tools

Travel up to 25%
