Panera Catering Coordinator - Full-time

We have a Catering Coordinator opening in our bakery-cafe in Newport, RI. The Catering Coordinator is responsible for taking, processing, and delivering Catering orders, increasing sales by marketing Panera Catering to potential clients, and communicating with cafe management daily to anticipate product needs. A typical Catering Coordinator schedule is Monday through Friday, 30 to 35 hours weekly, mornings into afternoons, but some flexibility is required when unique catering opportunities arise.

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation available for some business use (will be reimbursed), and state required auto insurance coverage.
• Strong communication and organization skills and the ability to multi-task.
• Ability to stand and walk majority of shift. Must be able to lift and carry up to 30 lbs.
• Ability to pass our background check procedures, including criminal and motor vehicle history
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Starting wage is $10+ per hour, based upon experience, plus Catering Coordinators receive delivery fees and have the potential to earn tips and a monthly bonus. The position is eligible for medical, dental, disability & life insurance coverage, paid vacation, and a 401(k) with a generous company match.
