Warehouse Associate - Full-time

Pool Builders Supply is searching for an energetic candidate to work in our warehouse located in uptown Charlotte, NC. Ideal candidate will have excellent customer service and problem solving skills along with a positive attitude, strong work ethic, and solid communication skills. Duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

Job summary

Stocking and shipping all products to fulfill customer orders

Essential job functions

• Pull items on pick tickets in a timely and accurate manner.
• Double checks all pulled orders to ensure shipping accuracy.
• Prepares freight bills for outbound truck shipments and makes sure drivers are creating bills of lading for all hazardous materials shipped on our trucks.
• Prepares and ships small packages on FedEx and UPS.
• Receives, checks, and documents all inbound shipments into FACTS business system.
• Restock shelves quickly and correctly.
• Obey all safety policies and report any unsafe conditions or equipment to supervisor.
• Manages physical inventory to ensure that all merchandise is in correct locations and counts are correct.
• Receive and evaluate all customer returns to determine if credit is due.
• Maintain warehouse equipment and orders supplies as needed.
• Make local deliveries using pick up truck as needed.

Minimum requirements Tools and Equipment Used:

• Bar code reader equipment- barcode scanner
• Forklifts- sit down forklifts
• Ladders- step ladders
• General computer equipment- Microsoft office

PREFER CANDIDATES WITH POOL INDUSTRY KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE

Physical Requirements: Incumbent needs to have the ability to bend, stretch, twist, or reach with your body, arms, and or legs. Near vision- The ability to see details at close range (within a few feet of the observer) Static Strength- The ability to exert maximum muscle force to lift , push, pull or carry objects. Arm-Hand steadiness- The ability to keep your hand and arm stardy while moving your arm or while holding your hand in one position.
