Role Summary: 
The Best Buy Sales Representative is responsible to deliver an excellent customer experience through their shopping journey. Sales Representative must have relationship, listening, search, and multi-tasking skills to enable an exceptional customer experience through complete sales and support solutions. It is essential that the Sales Representative have the ability to express his or her personality and excitement for the brand to the customer in a positive manner.

As a Sales Representative, you will:
 

• Be a member of a fun, high-performing team that takes pride in providing inspiring, genuine and helpful service to our customers
• Employ your own technology expertise and customer service genius to work directly with customers over the phone and/or chat
• Employ your selling skills, technology expertise and customer service genius to provide impartial, knowledgeable advice in recommending products and service solutions to ensure customers’ end-to-end needs are met
• Continuously build product and process knowledge using internal training courses and the knowledge management tool
• Use your critical thinking and creative problem-solving skills to create strong and lasting customer relationships with Best Buy Co., Inc.
• Effect change and influence best practices to create a better experience for both customers and employees

Sales Representatives will have the opportunity to positively influence their customers’ shopping experience and will be measured on the quality of their interactions and customer feedback, in addition to productivity requirements. Customer and sales metrics will also be an important component of the Sales Representative’s scorecard.

Basic Qualifications: 
 

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office software and knowledge management programs
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
• Detail orientated and demonstrated ability to multi-task
•  At least 1 year of previous Retail, Sales, and/or Customer Service experience
• Ability to work evenings and weekends
• High School Diploma or equivalent

Preferred Qualifications:

• 6 or more months of Retail, Sales, and/or Customer Service experience within consumer electronics industry
