Job summary:
The Facilities Supervisor will supervise a team of 2. The team will be responsible for 7 buildings on one Church Campus. They will perform general maintenance and repair of buildings, grounds and equipment to include minor carpentry, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, janitorial and other duties as assigned. Although the normal shift is M-F 7 to 4:30 there will be occational off hours work as needed.
Summary of essential job functions:
High school diploma or equivalent.

The Facilities Supervisor will supervise a team of 2. The team will be responsible for 7 buildings on one Church Campus. They will perform general maintenance and repair of buildings, grounds and equipment to include minor carpentry, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, janitorial and other duties as assigned. Summary of essential job functions:
- Perform preventive maintenance to buildings and equipment to minimize plumbing, mechanical, electrical, heating and air conditioning system failures.
- Diagnose problems and make needed repairs to buildings and equipment.
- Check boilers for proper operation making adjustments as appropriate.
- Inspect all campus buildings for any defects and repair immediately if minor work is needed.
- Inspect all bathroom plumbing systems for proper operation. Repair as needed.
- Maintain security of campus buildings to include locking doors and windows, activating and deactivating building alarms and responding to alarm calls after and during work hours.
- Set up classrooms.
- Set up for special events to include chairs, tables, audio and video equipment.
- Ensure campus is free of junk, trash and garbage.
- Display a cooperative and leadership spirit and the ability to work well with parish volunteers on maintenance projects.
- Knowledge and experience with rough carpentry, painting, simple plumbing, electrical work and basic equipment and facility repairs.
- Moderate knowledge and working experience reflecting the use of various tools ranging from common hand and power tools such as hammer, saws, drills and wrenches.
- Experience using a work order system.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs. Must be safety cautious at all times.
