Summary

Field Retail Sales Specialist

The Field Retail Sales Specialist is responsible for all Convenience Store activity located within the designated markets of Florida, Dallas and SO CA (key account management of the accounts specified by the client). This role will be responsible for execution of annual account plans by off premise customer to reflect brand and customer strategies and support the delivery of business goals.


Responsibilities
  • Responsible for selling in programs and distribution to local Independent Convenience retail accounts, which will deliver the volume and profit plan
  • Develop and maintain store level account relationships, regularly monitor and communicate performance against display execution and planogram space
  • Submit to director, proposals relative to business spending ideas that will drive incremental volume; enhance case volume at store level & Brand distribution points
  • Work with distributor sales reps, DM and territory Managers to make local store calls; by market, call on a predetermined hit list of “C Stores” when distributors are not available


Qualifications
  • Ability to build relationships, up, down and sideways with internal and external associates
  • Effective Listening skills
  • Knowledge or experience of merchandising principles
  • Ability to plan and prioritize competing priorities
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Experience with working on mobile device (iPad or other tablet device) a plus
