2nd Shift CNC Mill Machinst

Candidate will be doing set ups including edits, offsets, tool changes and running the machine and will be working on EXTREMELY large parts including crank shafts, frac pumps, and manifolds. They will be mainly machining on a Mecof Horizontal with Delta Tau controller and a Gray Horizontal. They also have a Cincinnati Milcron, Gantry Spar, Kias, with fanuc controls (horizontal and vertical mills) They will also be getting a Haas Mill EC 1600 down the road. They do not have a tool hive so all tool changes are manual. Materials include tool steel, stainless, etc and hold tolerances +/- 3. Horizontal mills mostly. Already programmed but candidate must be strong in G&M Code edits. They must read the blue print and adjust tooling as necessary. This candidate doesn't need to know how to program but must understand how basic programming works. They will be doing light set ups maybe two per week. Will be working on longer more production type stuff. Will be trained in on forklift and crane operation but they do not need that experience going in.

Must haves:
3+ years experience machining on mills (would look at 2+ mill and some lathe)
3+ years operating 2+ years setting up CNC machines
2+ years experience reading and understanding G&M codes
3+ years doing their own inspections
3+ years experience reading blue prints
1+ year working with GD&T symbols.
Must own their tools, basic inspection tools
Preferred:
-Lathe experience is a big plus!
-3+ years working in a shop on large parts or comfortable making the transition working on larger industrial parts

-Some of these requirements are negotiable, for example he will talk to sharp candidates that worked on smaller parts. they are also open to ALL controller experience i.e. Fanuc, Haas etc.
