Warehouse Worker - Part-time

GENERAL SUMMARY:
The warehouse worker is responsible for providing value to our customers. This is accomplished by: receiving (verifying product for quality and quantity), picking, loading, jockeying (use of material handling equipment), and delivering product to the AIRMALL Tenants within the Pittsburgh International Airport while meeting company standards for safety, security and productivity.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
. Receive and deliver freight in an efficient and safe manner, ensure for accuracy and free of damage
. Move freight throughout the Airport using proper equipment
. Operate any material handling equipment safely and efficiently as required. Use computer system to enter receipts from vendors
. Maintain a clean, neat orderly work area. Assist in maintaining the security of the warehouse, comply with OSHA and MSDS standards
. Charge batteries as needed, escorting, perform labeling, sorting, wrapping, housekeeping duties in and outside facility, and remove snow as seasonally required

5. Ability to perform physical activities that require considerable use of arms, legs and movement of entire body, such as: climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, stooping, and handling materials
6. Ability to withstand year round outside temperatures and weather conditions (extreme hot to extreme cold, rain or snow)
7. Exposure to dust in warehouse and staging area for delivery trucks
8. Ability to withstand temperatures of --10 degrees when picking product
in the walk-in freezer
9. Exposure to wet/damp areas in a walk in cooler
10. Exposure to noise and vibration -- service tunnel
11. Exposure to hazardous materials -- battery acid
12. Ability to lift and carry heavy objects
10% of time lifting 101 lbs or more, very heavy lifting
70% of time lifting 51 lbs to 100 lbs, heavy lifting
20% of time lifting 1 lb to 50 lbs, medium to light lifting
13. Ability to push and pull
50% time 400 lbs to 2250 lbs
50% of time 1 lb to 800 lbs
15. Current valid state driver's license
