Chief Executive Group seeks a part-time Event and Research Sales Associate to support our world-class events and proprietary research reports for CEOs . Via phone and email, you will work closely with our sales and marketing team to secure new and returning commitments from CEOs and other senior executives to attend Chief Executive events, as well as purchase high-value research reports. The ideal candidate will be comfortable communicating with senior executives about the critical business issues our research and events address. This sales role can be performed on a work-from-home part-time basis.

Earn a competitive hourly rate plus commission for each attendee secured and report sold.

Responsibilities:

The Event and Research Sales Associate will recruit new and returning attendees to our events, and close sales of research reports via dedicated phone and email outreach.

Specific responsibilities for this sales position will include:

  • Contacting prospective, new and returning event attendees via phone and email, and assisting with online event registration as needed
  • Closing sales of research reports by sending emails and making outbound sales calls to warm and cold leads
  • Answering attendee questions about the event, including schedules, logistics and/or travel
  • Sending event correspondence and other mailings to prospective and registered attendees, including invitation follow-ups, RSVP confirmations, and other event attendance details
  • Maintaining detailed records of outreach efforts and regularly reporting on progress

 

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will enjoy contacting prospects and attendees via phone and email. The Event and Research Sales Associate will be a motivated professional with strong organizational skills and the ability to work productively in a work-from-home environment.

Specific qualifications for this sales role will include:

  • Experience in professional, executive-level phone sales and/or customer service, combined with the persistence needed in a sales environment
  • Exceptional verbal communication skills, with a keen focus on customer satisfaction
  • Working knowledge and experience with word processing, spreadsheet, and database software (e.g. Microsoft Office, Google Docs)
  • Home office with laptop, internet access, and telephone
  • College degree, preferred but not required
