Machinist

Industry leader is seeking skilled machinists at progressive industrial company with room for growth and leadership opportunities. Please see description below.

Should contain the following skills:

• Experience working on cnc mills and lathes
• Ability to matchine metals, parts, and castings to close tolerances
• Knowledge of machining methods, cutting tools, cutting qualities of metals, and overall manufacturing experience
• Ability to read blueprings, work from layouts and dimensions on drawings, using indicators, height guages, etc
• Ability to read blueprints, work from layouts and dimensions on drawings, using indicators, height guages, etc
• Machines used in shop include: Kearney Treker, Mori Seiki, Olofson, Schiess, Mitsubishi, Cincinnati, Okuma, Mazak, Motch and Trevisan

Required Skills:

• Must have strong mechanical aptitude
• Good communication and interpersonal skills with attention to detail
• Proficient use of shop math

Additional Requirements:

• Must be willing to submit to a background check
• Must be willing to submit to a drug screen
• Must have HS diploma or equivalent
• Working with manufacturing engineers
