Environmental Services / Custodial Manager 1

Sodexo is seeking a part time Environmental Services/Custodial Manager for Women's and Children's Hospital of Buffalo, part of Kaleida Health.  This is a second shift opportunity, managing a team of 15 in custodial/ housekeeping services.  The successful candidate will need to be flexible to cover other shifts as necessary when business needs arise.  The hospital is located in Buffalo, NY and consists of 200 beds and over 600,000 cleanable square feet.  This role will provide leadership and insight through our Sodexo programs such as TRAKKAR, FOSS, CARES, and SHINE.  Prior background in hotels, housekeeping, custodial, and management is ideal for this role.   Candidates should have management experience in Environmental Services, Housekeeping and/or Custodial Services, excellent customer service skills along with strong floor care knowledge, and aptitude in Microsoft Word and Excel.  The ability to work weekends and holidays will also be required.  Exceptional background in driving patient satisfaction and customer service is vital to the success of this manager.  Join us now at Women's and Children's Hospital and be a part of our exciting move to the Buffalo Niagara Medical Campus in 2017.

Leads hourly staff providing custodial services to clients. Responsible for work force planning, Quality Assurance training and administrative functions for designated area. May report to General Manager in smaller accounts or to Operations Manager in larger accounts or to another manager level. May supervise less than 2 full time employees.
