Fluid Power Technician - Full-time / Part-time

We are currently hiring for Fluid Power Technicians in the Edna/Minnetonka area!

Mon - Thur start time is flexible between 5am-7am - 1st shift

Mon - Thur 3pm-1:30pm

6 Months Contract to Hire
Pay: $17-$25

JOB DESCRIPTION:
Perform Mechanical Assembly, configures, and tests mechanical/hydraulic components according to engineering and manufacturing documentation.
Ability to work with large/heavy parts with close machining tolerances.
Ability to produce a quality product within established manufacturing time standards.
Interprets engineering 2-D drawings and 3-D models to determine end product configurations and critical details.
Attention to detail is a must.
Understanding of Hydraulic/Pneumatic theory to be used in assembling, testing, and troubleshooting product.
Ability to read hydraulic schematics is highly desirable.

MUST HAVE:
Two year degree from college or trade school or military training in an applicable discipline (mechanics, hydraulics, automation)
A Fluid Power degree (AAS from Hennepin Tech, Alexandria, Granite Falls, etc.) is highly preferred.
Robotics/Automated Packaging/Manufacturing Engineering experience can be desirable as well.

OR

4+ years applicable mechanical experience in a industrial environment.
