Senior Housekeeping Aide - Full-time / Part-time

The successful candidate will have the following qualifications and skills:

• High School Diploma or equivalency or combination of education and experience to fulfill requirements and essential duties of the position
• One to two years directly related work experience
• Knowledge of OSHA requirements
•  Shampoo, buff, mop, extract and wax all types of flooring
• Cleaning and sanitizing all assigned areas
• Maintain trash chute rooms by removing trash and ensuring cleanliness
• Perform regular cleaning and sanitizing of chairs and wheelchairs
• Maintain and clean various light fixtures throughout the continuum
• Experience using riding vacuums/equipment and buffers, carpet extractor, wet vac and vacuum cleaners, cleaning cart, ladders and 2 way radios
• Inspect and clean all equipment before and after use
• Perform in-house moves
• Must be able to communicate effectively and execute work assignments from residents/staff through verbal and/or written instructions
• Desire to work with senior adults and ability to respond in a patient, compassionate, courteous, and cooperative manner to residents, guest, staff, and the public is essential
