Hours: Part Time (Evenings & weekend Mornings)
General Summary: The purpose of this position is to instruct members in swimming techniques through quality instruction, coaching, evaluating, and encouraging aquatics participation. This position shares the responsibility for monitoring all activities at the pool with regard to the public and associates; to ensure a safe, clean and well-maintained facility.
Qualifications: Demonstrated knowledge of principles and methods used in teaching swimming. Current American Red Cross Water Safety Instructor certificate preferred and a minimum of 6 months of swim instruction experience with elementary age children in groups. Current American Red Cross Lifeguard certification is a plus. CPR certification.
