Automation Personnel Services, Inc. Has immediate opening for Warehouse Workers/Machine Operators at a manufacturer in Adairsville, GA.
Primary Purpose: The primary purpose of this position is to complete production work order safely, on time, and within specifications. Production associates work within and across departments on the production floor to complete customer orders. Associates may use basic math functions on a daily basis, diagnose and report mechanical issues and follow written procedures and processes within the safety program.
Responsibilities:
Safely and accurately complete work orders per production schedule and standard operating procedures.
Assume ownership of work. Follow work orders through to completion.
Perform job duties to satisfactory levels in support of the business and the team. This includes prompt arrival at start of shift, appropriate breaks, and adequate communication with co-workers and supervisory team to ensure safe and accurate completion of work orders.
Schedule time off per the attendance policy. Keep the supervisory team informed of all attendance issues.
Complete Safety and Compliance checks as directed. Use proper PPE and perform housekeeping as required.
Attends/completes training as directed.
Assists in providing training to new employees.
Required Qualifications:
Strong math skills.
Strong attention to detail.
Strong mechanical skills.
Ability to follow procedures and processes.
Able to follow all safety procedures.
Be physically capable of lifting more than 50 pounds, climbing stairs and ladders, wearing safety gear, and working with chemicals.
