OPS Employment Description: The position is OPS (Other Personnel Services) which means that employees are paid for the number of hours they work. OPS employees do not receive any form of paid leave, paid holidays, or participation in the Florida Retirement System. OPS employees do have the option to receive health insurance benefits.
PAY RATE: $ 15.00
WORKING HOURS: 8:00am - 5:00pm - Monday, Tuesday, & Friday - 24 hours per week
DESCRIPTION
The employee in this position is responsible for independently performing clerical duties associated with but not limited to the following programs: Primary Care, Dental, Family Planning, STD, Immunizations, TB, and Refugee.
Receives clients and visitors to the clinics; informs clients, visitors and the public about agency services; prepares clinic record and routes to the appropriate provider. Input and retrieve information from the computer. Manages electronic files of clients. Scheduling of client appointments in a computer based system for all clinic sites based upon provided protocol. Working at front reception area which involves face to face contact with client; good customer service skills; answering multi-line phone system. Obtaining and releasing client information adhering to provided guidelines regarding confidentiality and security. Correctly documenting pertinent client information in electronic health records. Participates in team meetings, general staff meetings, individual conferences and professional training; special events. Cashier duties.

LICENSURE, CERTIFICATION OR REGISTRATION REQUIREMENTS
Incumbent must possess a valid Florida Driver License and have a motor vehicle to carry out these duties.
Incumbents will complete mandatory trainings within required timeframes.
Direct deposit of salary is a condition of employment.

This position requires a security background check and/or drug screening and participation in direct deposit.
