N. Orlando Company seeks Full Time Purchasing Assistant/Expeditor
1st Shift, 40 hours, Mon - Friday
$16yes-$17 per hour, DOE
Duties Include:
Reports to Purchasing Manager
Maintain Files and Records
Participating in Meetings
Monitor and balance inventories
Verify Pricing
Coordinate shipping status with all carriers, deliveries
Works closely with Receiving Department
Utilize MRP system
Maintain Supplier Contracts
Communicate to all departments issues with supplies/delivery of said supplies
Requirements Include:
High School Diploma or GED
Minimum 2 years Purchasing Experience, preferably in a Manufacturing Environment
Proficient with 10 key
Must pass client pre-screening process
Proficient in Microsoft Word, Outlook and Excel
Experienced with Shipping and Expediting of materials
May travel for annual training, as needed
Detail oriented
Familiar with JIT and Kanban programs
