Position Description:

Responsible for delivering and measuring all technical and soft skill training as well as directing, organizing, coordinating its use for the customer service, claims or group services functions for all United Healthcare Operations staff.Primary Responsibilities:

Deliver New Hire and incumbent job specific training using innovative methods that increase retention and enhance cost effectiveness
Deliver ongoing refresher training, based on development needs
Deliver advanced training to existing to existing staff
Responsible for tracking assessment scores
Track training hours per person using the training tracking database
Organize, coordinate, and communicate training programs for the office
Schedule and coordinate new hire and incumbent training or coaching
Provide feedback on training results
Coach and counsel trainees both during and after training
Provide feedback to Supervisors, Managers and Directors

Positions in this function are responsible for training within a function such as Claims or Customer Service. Does not train outside of specialty. May also be involved in the design process. Employees in jobs labeled with SCA must support a government Service Contract Act (SCA) agreement.

Requirements

Required Qualifications:

High School Diploma/GED.
2+ years of Coaching, Team Lead or Mentoring experience in a professional environment.
Experience Facilitating Classroom or Web-Based Trainings.
Ability to utilize Microsoft Word to create business correspondence, update information within forms/templates, and use of spell/grammar check tools.
Ability to utilize Microsoft Excel for data entry, sorting/filtering, updating information within tables and reports.
Ability to utilize Microsoft PowerPoint to create presentations from scratch, updating existing presentations/templates.
1+ year experience with Customer Service within a Call Center.
1+ year experience within the Benefit Advocate teams.
Ability and willingness to travel up to 25%.
Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree or Higher.
Experience with SharePoint.
Experience with WebEx.
Experience with Employer and Individual Programs and Products.
