We currently have the following position available:

GENERAL DESCRIPTION/PRIMARY PURPOSE: Performs a variety of complex installations, maintenance and repair of on-line electrical, mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic equipment and systems in one or more specialty areas; electrical/electronics, welding/fabrication, material handling systems, plumbing, carpentry, etc. May lead less experienced mechanics on projects or in the absence of supervisory personnel. Other duties as required.

DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES/TASKS ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

1. Must be able to operate cutting torches and various types of welding equipment
2. Possess and can demonstrate carpentry skills
3. Demonstrate and ability to fabricate projects from either wood or metal.
4. Keeps all building and material handling systems running.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES:

1. Ability to understand and read English

2. Ability to grasp, bend, and lift or otherwise move items weighing up to 75

pounds.

3. Good communications and writing skills

4. Capable of completing all company forms and paperwork

5. Ability to work at heights or unusual work positions.

1. Math skills to include but not limited to general math.
2. Must be able to read and understand drawings, i.e., architect, mechanical, electrical, plumbing etc.
3. Experience in industrial maintenance field with demonstrated preventative maintenance experience in material handling systems.
4. Proven proficiency in three or more of the following areas; electrical/electronics, welding/fabrication, plumbing, electro hydraulics, mechanical and electrical drive systems, PLC controlled systems.
5. Familiarity with OSHA/NFPA/NEC standards
6. Understand and knowledgeable of MSDS sheets.
7. Must be able to operate all shop equipment and hand tools.
8. Must maintain housekeeping standards
9. Must maintain safe work practices.

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS:

Five (5) plus years working in an industrial or similar maintenance environment.

OTHER FACTORS:

Frequent exposure to lubricants, chemical vapors, aerosols, and other physical demands requiring certain levels of tolerance for working in adverse conditions i.e., noise, dust, heat, weather conditions is necessary.
