Environmental Services / Custodial Manager 1 - Full-time

Sodexo is seeking a Environmental Services/ Custodial Manager for Essentia Health Hospital in Fargo, North Dakota. Essentia Health-Fargo is a multi-specialty hospital and clinic with 140 beds. Sodexo has been partners with Essentia Hospital for nearly 16 years.  This growing hospital just added a new tower and remodeled their cafeteria and kitchen earlier this year.

 

Fargo is the largest city in the State of North Dakota and home to North Dakota State University, University of Minnesota at Moorhead and Concordia College. Fargo's downtown area was voted as one of the most up-and-coming downtown areas in the US. Fargo is located 3 ½ hours away from Minneapolis and Winnipeg.

 

This Manager will have the opportunity to lead a team of up to 35 hourly hospital employees. The ideal candidate will have previous Environmental Services/Custodial/Housekeeping management experience OR prior management experience in the Hospitality industry. Candidates must have excellent customer service and communication skills, strong computer skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks at once.

 

This Manager will oversee primarily the 2nd shift, but must have flexibility to cover additional shifts as well. The typical schedule will rotate between 3pm - 11:30pm.  Some weekends and holidays will also be required.

Supervises hourly staff providing custodial service to client. Responsible for work force planning, Quality Assurance training and administrative functions for designated area. Typically reports to General Manager or Operations Manager.
