The Sr. IT Network Analyst will provide guidance and assistance with regards to IT and enterprise networking. This will be done by getting involved with various project teams across the enterprise including acquisitions, compliance, infrastructure and applications. This position will be expected to deliver documents and troubleshooting data as well as lead the teams in a network-focused direction.
 
Primary Responsibilities:

Diagnoses and troubleshoots issues with network configuration, routers, switches, wireless networks, and other network hardware and software. This will be a collaborative effort with network engineers that have direct access to equipment. This position will not have direct access to network equipment
Supports and assists the IT Department in the development of sound practices and solutions for networking issues
Uses past experience and knowledge to review and finalize future network designs, installations and solution recommendations
Collects data from network performance and uptime monitoring tools and provides reports to management. Makes recommendations and offers solutions based on trends to maintain or improve efficient network operations
Reviews, troubleshoots, and validates potential network issues and capabilities Collaborates with applicable testing groups (e.g., application owners, engineers) to ensure proper functionality
Demonstrates understanding of how networking technologies meet business needs or requirements. Anticipates future business needs and ensures inclusion in business requirements
Gathers / reviews business requirements with regards to network systems
Ensures that business requirements are clearly and comprehensively documented, understood and properly implemented (including integration with IT and business partners)
Ensures that non-functional business requirements are clearly defined (e.g., SLAs, performance requirements, performance guarantees)
Performs all other related duties as assigned
 

Required Qualifications:

Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience
5+ years of System Analysis and Systems Configuration experience
5+ years of experience working in the different phases of development
5 + years of healthcare insurance industry experiences
5+ years of Relational Database experience
5+ years of writing system requirements
Knowledge of the Software(System) Development Life Cycle
Experience working with test plans and test cases
Experience facilitating Joint Application Development (JAD) sessions
