Staffmark has several 1st and 2nd shift Transporter positions located in the Downtown Birmingham Area.

TRANSPORTER DUTIES:
Completes requests for bed delivery and bed removal Completes daily inventory of beds, linen, and supplies on hand for bed control. Follows policy and procedures as they relate to the decontamination of all equipment after patient-use. Puts all equipment after cleaning in proper storage location. Clean and decontaminate beds. Put linen on clean beds and cover until in use. When bed request is made, put reservation card on bed and transport to appropriate room. Returns equipment promptly to proper location after use using proper infection control procedures. Collects, cleans, and performs repairs on equipment at designated times per established department procedures. Perform other duties, as assigned.
