Lead Mechanic - PROD MAIN - 09-2086 - Full-time

The Lead Mechanic provides support to mechanics on shift to ensure production line equipment is in good repair. To help oversee preventative maintenance program. We offer competitive compensation with a base hourly pay rate based on skills and experience.

Work Shift:

This position is a night shift position that works the same shift pattern on night shift from 5:45pm – 6:00am with rotating days of the week. The shift pattern is known as a “2 2 3” rotation that provides every other weekend off. (Example: Mon & Tue work; Wed & Thu off; Fri Sat Sun work; Mon & Tue off; Wed & Thu work; Fri Sat Sun off). Some overtime may be available based on business needs.

Job Responsibilities:

• Perform machinery repairs and preventative maintenance.
• Support team of mechanics on shift to ensure all work is completed to accuracy and Good Manufacturing Practice standards.
• Ensure escalation process is followed for equipment issues / downtime.
• Troubleshoot the lines for problems and implement corrective actions.
• Assist in training all operators and mechanics.
• Responsible for the preventative maintenance of the machinery and equipment.
• Identify repetitive failures, develop and implement the solutions to remedy the problem.
• To build or modify machinery as needed.
• Design changes for packaging and process equipment.
• Responsible to enabling development of technical skills of mechanic on work team.

Job Requirements:

• Associate's degree in Industrial Maintenance or related field and 1 year work experience OR 3+ years work experience.
• Must have previous leadership experience.
• Must have previous experience in Manufacturing environment with responsibility for Maintenance.
