Client located near Westbury seeking a Mechanical Lead Inspector/Quality Control;
The ideal candidate must have at least 5 years inspection exp. in a manufacturing environment; ability to read and interpret mfg. drawings and specifications including geometric dimensioning and tolerance; Knowledge of ISO/AS9100 is a MUST! Must be highly experienced with micrometers, height gauges, calipers, etc. Advanced computer knowledge of MS Office, knowledge of ANSIY14.5.
Responsibilities will include but are not limited to: performing receiving, first piece inspections, in-process and final inspections, perform AS9102 standard First Article Inspection reports, calibration of gauges and fixtures, etc.
This is a full time permanent position. Hours: Monday – Friday, 1 st shift
Salary is contingent upon experience.
