Job Description: The Payroll Assistant is a key position within the Ski & Ride School and focuses primarily on the daily entry of instructor pay into RPOS. Attention to detail and accuracy is a must. Each Payroll Assistant will be scheduled to work at one of three Ski & Ride School locations (California Lodge, Base of Gondola, and Boulder). The Assistant is responsible for providing a high level of internal customer service, mainly to Ski & Ride School Management and Ski/Snowboard Instructors. This is an ideal position for a skier or snowboarder seeking administrative work with ample opportunity to ski/ride nearly every day if desired.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Accurately inputs daily payroll into RPOS, based on information provided on instructor time cards
  • Maintain organized filing system for instructor time cards and adjustment requests
  • Runs daily reports and performs daily audits to assure accuracy
  • Assists in resolving any pay issues and performs pay adjustments within current pay period
  • Collects payroll adjustment requests outside of current pay period and forwards to Payroll Administrator for review
  • Manages paycheck distribution at assigned location and maintains record of paycheck receipt

Requirements:

  • Educational Requirements (HS Diploma or GED).
  • Ability to speak, read and communicate clearly in English.
  • Proficient in use of Microsoft Office (mainly Word & Excel).
  • Professionalism, ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality, strong attention to detail and timeliness.
  • Excellent organizational skills, ability to multi task, and great attention to detail.
  • Superior internal guest interactions with employees and other departments.
  • Flexible schedule required during peak times throughout the year.
