CNA (Certified Nursing Assistant)

Location: Portland, ME

Description: We are seeking compassionate Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA) and Certified Home Health Aides (CHHA) to work within our clients homes or in a facility setting providing support with daily living tasks, and personal care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. Our qualified Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA) and Certified Home Health Aides (CHHA) work closely with patients and are responsible for basic care services such as bathing, grooming, and feeding. Maxim Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA) and Certified Home Health Aides (CHHA) ensure our patients receive essential social and emotional support and provide vital information on patient conditions to nurses.

We are also searching for compassionate Caregivers to work within our clients homes or a facility providing support with daily living tasks that may include any of the following duties:

Meal preparation
Medication reminders
Light housekeeping
Assisting with mobility
Escorting to appointments
Assisting with personal care
Other duties as assigned

Qualifications of Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA) and Certified Home Health Aides (CHHA)
Current, unencumbered state certification to practice as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) / Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA)
Minimum one (1) year of Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA) and Certified Home Health Aides (CHHA) experience required
Current CPR certification
Copy of updated Physical
Copy of updated TB results/ Chest x-ray
Reliable transportation

We are currently looking for Full Time/Part Time/Per Diem employees.
Week Day Shifts Available (Mon-Fri): Days, Evenings, Overnights
Weekend Shifts Available (Sat/Sun): Days, Evenings, Overnights

Qualifications of Caregiver
One (1) year of professional experience working as a Caregiver
Two (2) professional references
CPR certification required
Documentation of current TB Test
Reliable Transportation
