Factory Maintenance Technician

Located in north Fort Worth
8:00 AM to 5:00 PM Monday through Friday and on call 24x7
Long term opportunity
Pay rate is dependent on experience but the target range is $20 per hour
Job Description:
•Reports to Maintenance Supervisor
•Maintain inventory of equipment and spare parts by ordering supplies as needed
•Responsible for trouble shooting electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical equipment
•Maintain a clean and organized maintenance storage area
•Install, set up, and troubleshoot molding machines, auxiliary equipment, and assembly equipment
•Diagnose malfunctions through use of proper test equipment
•Perform preventative and predictive maintenance on all injection molding machines, auxiliary equipment, assembly equipment, compressed air equipment, and water tower
•Properly document repairs through use of Maintenance Work Order System
•Participate in problem solving and process improvements on existing and new equipment
•Participate in continual improvement, innovation, projects
•Perform all general plant maintenance
•Perform general housekeeping by keeping the facility and grounds neat
•Perform work on electrical circuits
•Operate a sit down forklift
Experience & Characteristics:
•5 years of experience doing a maintenance role in a manufacturing environment that included electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical equipment
•Experience supervising multiple employees
•Proficient with Microsoft Office
•Work well in a team environment
•Good leadership skills
•Flexible, resourceful, and easy to work with
•Organized
•Dependable
•Positive attitude
•Good customer service skills
