LOCAL CLASS C- BOBTAIL ROUTE DRIVER
Description:
Driver will have multiple stops to some of LA and Orange county's most popular local super market businesses, and small convenience stores around the area. This is a fast paced, independent position that involves lifting, loading, and carrying soft drink beverage cases typically weigh 5 - 75 lbs. Most loads are palletized, and are offloaded with manual pallet jack, or electric pallet jack also the position may also require the delivery of stack items of cases offloaded with a hand truck.

Excellent customer service skills are required, as driver will be interacting directly with customer, making sure all bill of lading paperwork is correct. Driver must demonstrate good backing skills in tight spaces, able to maneuver around parked cars in everyday driving situation while operating a Box Truck (bobtail) equipped with a lift gate. Previous food delivery or any industry route experience is preferred, but not required.

Start Time : 3am (Monday-Friday with some Saturdays)

Requirements: • 23 years of age or older • Valid Class C license • 1 year or more Class C Bobtail (Box Truck) driving experience within the past 36 months • No more than 3 moving violations and/or 3 preventable accidents combined in the last 3 years • NO Reckless Driving in the last 5 years. • NO DUI’s /DWI’s in the past 5 years • Must be able to provide current DMV Printout H-6 (10 year), issued within the past 30 days We help professional Commercial Drivers find more than just a job, we help find the right driving career.
